Packages

I HAVE A STORY
We all have a story.  Contained within that story are many other stories – stories that are, by nature, meant to be told.  When they are not, they remain, just that: CONTAINED, never fulfilling their purpose or destiny.

YESTERDAY
There were some containers on the floor, which are no longer.
Boring? Not interesting to you? Well, not when those containers are beautifully decorated packages, on the floor because they just happened to be carefully and strategically placed under an also beautifully decorated Christmas Tree!  Were we all excited about the packages?  Absolutely! 
My daughter, now grown with 2 teenage boys of her own, confessed that she had been awake since about 4:30am! In her words, “It’s Christmas!  Why can’t I sleep? What am I – 5?!”

ANXIOUS ANTICIPATION
Anticipation?  Of what? Looking at some containers on the floor? Or, rather, opening some beautiful packages to reveal and either, #1 – receive what they contain or, #2 – observe others’ reactions to what they reveal and receive.

You can see where I am going with this.
