REALITY REDEEMED
When the answers that you have
Are only questions in the making
And your spirit says to trust
But inside your heart is breaking
You know the words to say
You know what you must do
But your strength and faith are fleeting
As fragile as the morning dew
There’s no one you can turn to,
No clock to turn back time
No road to take to nowhere
No recourse for the crime
Reality is the Monster
The one you face at last
Where Hope meets Fear and Anger
And Future collides with Past
You find Someone is already there
Who’s faced him once before
And only He can help you
Only He can show you the door
And when that door is opened
You’ll find The Monster tamed
For even he must submit
To the Name above All Names
So when your heart is broken
And your eyes have no more tears
Remember the One who loves you most
And died for all your fears
He has the answers to the questions
The fears still yet unspoken
Justice has been served
The curse has now been broken
He IS the One Solution
The Only One to trust
Without Him we are lost
And He knows we are but dust
He knows your heart is hurting
But He sees what He has planned
The Monster redeemed by the Maker
In that Truth, He helps us stand
The strength will come from Him
And Joy – soon to follow
Fear subsides, Faith will rise,
So we can face tomorrow.

BROKEN VESSEL
Cracked and broken, being crushed to powder
Living this life – for My God, and no other…
When the world around me is spinning
and the ground below begins to shake
I take comfort in the God who created the storm
and my heart begins to break.
So, I sit before Him weeping
my heart and tears held in His hands
Then rejoice in the One who Loves me
and on Solid Rock, I now can stand.
